Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to common questions about our financial literacy programs. We've organized everything by topic to help you get the information you need quickly.
Program Fundamentals
What exactly does the financial literacy program cover?
Our comprehensive program walks you through personal budgeting, understanding credit systems, investment basics, retirement planning, and tax fundamentals. We focus on practical skills you'll actually use – like reading financial statements, comparing loan options, and building emergency funds. Each module includes real-world scenarios from the Australian financial landscape.
How long does it typically take to complete?
Most participants finish within 8-12 months, studying about 4-6 hours per week. The program is self-paced, so you can move faster through familiar topics and spend extra time on areas that are new to you. Some people finish in 6 months, others take up to 15 months – it really depends on your schedule and prior experience.
Do I need any background in finance to start?
Not at all. We designed this program for complete beginners. We start with the absolute basics – what's a budget, how interest works, why credit scores matter. The only requirement is being willing to learn and having access to a computer or tablet for the online components.
Is this program recognized by any Australian financial bodies?
While our program focuses on practical education rather than formal certification, our curriculum aligns with standards set by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) for financial literacy. We provide completion certificates that many employers recognize for professional development purposes.
Enrollment & Getting Started
When does the next intake begin?
We have rolling admissions with new cohorts starting every month throughout 2025. The next major intake is scheduled for September 2025, with smaller groups beginning in July and October. Early registration is recommended as our personalized approach means we keep class sizes manageable.
What's included in the program fee?
Your enrollment covers all course materials, online platform access, one-on-one mentoring sessions, group workshops, and ongoing support throughout your learning journey. We also include access to financial planning templates and calculators that you can use long after completing the program.
Are payment plans available?
Yes, we offer several flexible payment options. You can pay in full upfront for a discount, or choose from 3, 6, or 12-month payment plans. We understand that financial stress shouldn't prevent anyone from learning about financial wellness, so we work with students to find payment arrangements that fit their budgets.
Can I transfer to a different start date if needed?
Absolutely. Life happens, and we get that. You can transfer to any upcoming cohort within 12 months of your original enrollment date without additional fees. Just give us at least two weeks' notice so we can reserve your spot in the new group.
Support & Resources
What kind of support do you provide during the program?
Each student gets paired with a mentor who's available for monthly one-on-one calls. We also run weekly group Q&A sessions where you can ask questions and learn from other participants. Our online community forum is active 24/7, and our support team typically responds to questions within 24 hours during weekdays.
What happens after I complete the program?
You'll have lifetime access to course materials and any updates we make. Many graduates join our alumni network, which includes monthly meetups in major Australian cities and an active online community. We also offer advanced workshops throughout the year on topics like property investing and small business finances.
Do you offer any technical support for the online platform?
Yes, we have a dedicated technical support team. The platform works on any modern browser, and we provide detailed setup guides for different devices. If you run into issues, you can reach support via email, phone, or live chat during business hours. We also have video tutorials covering common technical questions.
Can I get additional help if I'm struggling with certain concepts?
Of course. Beyond your regular mentor sessions, you can book additional one-on-one time if you need extra help with specific topics. We've found that concepts like compound interest and investment risk sometimes need extra explanation, and we're happy to spend whatever time you need to feel confident with the material.
